A web app to celebrate the 200th Birthday of Alfred Escher; a collaboration between Trends & Identity, Interaction Design and further design disciplines of the University of Arts in Zurich and the City of Zurich.
The Escher Walk was created at the ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts in the Department of Design. Students and lecturers from different disciplines developed the multimedia city walk together. It is a contribution to the 200th anniversary of Alfred Escher and a free cultural offer in the city of Zurich.
Alfred Escher has left his mark on history - politically, economically and socially. These traces are not only clearly recognizable in retrospect, but extend beyond the present and challenge us to confront the future.
My part for the "Escher Walk"contains a four-part animation of four important characters for the success of Alfred Escher. In short portraits I invite you to dive in the memorial of each of them.
