Light and cardboard installation, 2018

This project is a future scenario around the topic living space. The only materials that could be used were cardboard and light. The project was part of the design symposium 2018 at ZHdK. Four rooms and a turnable elevator each reflect a basic human need.

Scenario: The high population density and the overall bad environmental situation in Zurich forced us to rethink. Private homes are being replaced by the new housing concept: living, working and being together happens in one place; that's the WG 2.0. The residents share their living spaces; through the heart of the building, a revolving elevator, one is guided from one room to the next, satisfying one's basic needs and getting to know other residents. It covers sleep, work, food, sanitary facilities and human contact.
